Responsibilities
We are seeking production control coordinator to work in our materials/sourcing department. Daily responsibilities include analyzing and processing engineering releases on manufacturing job orders by constructing job bills of material and providing pertinent associated information to production and materials personnel to insure accurate and timely completion of jobs. Review Sales order / job order cost detail reports at project completion and perform transactions to correct job bill of materials to reflect accurate costs and component quantities. Coordinate and maintain feedback to engineering to insure standard bills of material accuracy. Related duties include: inventory analysis, assisting in determining appropriate order quantities and stocking levels for components.
Requirements
- Minimum of an associates degree or equivalent with three (3) years related experience in an engineering/ production environment.
- Solid PC, Microsoft Office background.
- ERP software experience (Made2Manage a plus)
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Solidworks and ability to read engineering drawings a plus.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as ratios, percentages, and trends, as well as basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions in written, verbal, and schedule from.
Reports
This position reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
